Depron Dinosaur

Here is a free download for my Pterodactylus park flyer:

http://modell-aviator.de/modelle/dow...pterodactylus/

CG POSITION IS WRONG IN THE PLAN!!! CORRECT IS 115 - 120 mm from firewall!!!!!

Flies and looks great, fast or slow depending on the setup.
Videos:
Flugsaurier Pterodactylus (1 min 34 sec)

Flugsaurier gegen Flugsaurier (2 min 31 sec)

Thomas:

Did you ever try any longer wing span when you were doing the prototype?

Danke;

Yes, I did a Pteranodon with 160cm span first and it flew quite well, too.
only problem is limited elevon authority when going very slow.
The Pterodactylus has more directional stabilty and is more precise in flight.

Pteranodon (1 min 13 sec)

Jurassic Wildpark: Angriff der Flugsaurier (1 min 10 sec)

I also like your Pteranodon very much Thomas. It seems to fly slower which is better for my old eyes.

Dave-
I have no plans for the Pteranodon, but you could scale up the pterodactylus plans ( I wanted to do this next year )- it should fly very stable and predictable and even better than Pteranodon because of the bigger chord. But even the 68cm version is docile on 2s with slow fly prop.

What a beast , Bob! Really looking wild. Did you continue flying it?

Dave, I`m looking forward to see a bigger one. To which span will you scale it up?
