Final Scores

Okay here they are, the final scores for the year. Congratulations T.R. as it looks like you won again this year!

For fun I may post some scores when time permits that attempts to balance attendance with competition to give those that cannot attend every week a chance to win the overall scoring competition.

Truly a great summer of combat with lots of streamers being cut. See you all next year. For those interested in competing next year, winter is the time to start building your .46 equivalent or smaller combat plane. There are plenty of engines and parts available at the upcoming show and auction events.

Thanks tim, it was great fun as always spending Tuesday nights with a great group of friends. Stiff competition but every one is willing to help each other.

Tundra Terror X - streamer combat event at Green Bay Model Airplane Club

The GB Model Airplane Club is hosting a 2 day streamer combat event. October 4th and 5th.

Saturday is:
6 Rnds Lim B and 6 Rnds 2948

Sunday is :
6 Rnds SSC and 6 Rnds GNAT

What we have been flying at VAM is closest to Limited B rules.

I am planning on flying SSC and Gnat on Sunday. As of right now nine pilots are signed up for SSC and Gnat.

The event is open to all AMA members. The only requirement is that planes meet the rules.

For SSC:
2.5 lbs minimum weight
.15 engine less than $85
Master Airscrew 8x3 prop
17,500 max RPM
sticky stuff allowed

For GNAT:
Looks like a GNAT
SSC legal motor
Master Airscrew 8x3 prop
No RPM limit for glow
NO STICKY STUFF ALLOWED

An event fee of $20 includes lunch.
