30mph winds forecast for this coming Sunday. I will be more gentle Dale and I won't tease the VA. Promise.

I sure love flying this plane.

Any of you guys know of a drop in replacement motor other than the eflight replacement one. Don't need more power, equiv is fine and same weight, amp draw and mounting config. would be great. Actually for my Sukhoi, but same motor as VA. Thanks if anybody can help and save me a bunch of research. Eflight just doesn't publish enough specs to give much to compare to other motors.

I used one of these with a 12x6 APC prop and a 51mm Irvine spinner (which is a bit darker red than the airframe): http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking...arehouse_.html

Gives a touch more top speed with the 12x6 prop and broadly performs the same. It fits perfectly. There is also a 1250kv one available to match the original motor: http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking...arehouse_.html

I can't remember if the original prop fits or not but I know the spinner won't.

Hello Visionaire freaks!

I just took ownership o a NIB Night Visionaire.

First is there a different thread for the Night version?

So here is my question they are similar planes. I'm not new to 3D, I've had several, and I've never had a plane with stabilization never really felt the need. But I got this in a trade, and now I'm trying to decide whether I want to keep it, or sell it (or trade it lol). I love 3D, but usually fly scale stuff. Test Flite was at our flying field Baylands recently and there was this, what was probably a 7-9 year old kid tearing up the skys with his, he and the plane were on point it was awesome to see him fly so low to the ground!

So anyway, do any of you fly more advanced plane and still fly their VisionAire?
