Looks interesting. The Banggood description is tantalising, as the photos seem almost deliberately to conceal details, such as the battery bay. It does seem from the charger cable though that this quad uses the micro Losi plug, similar to the JJRC 1000.

Also no dimensions are given, though since it uses a 220mAh battery, you might guess it is very similar in size to the JJRC 1000. For that one the standard battery is I think a 250mAh one, although it can also use various other ones even up to 380mAh.

Its shape looks somewhat similar to the JJRC 1000, although the feet have a significantly different shape, somewhat similar to the Eachine H8.

In any case, although I would like one of the new 3D small quads, I won't be buying this one, as there is no Mode 1 version.

If the battery is 220 mAh, that would be the same as the H8 3D, which has identical battery capacity stock.

Transmitter looks similar to H8 3D as well which might explain why the H8 3D uses the same protocol as the H20 if it's a rebrand of the JJRC H22?
Better LED's than H8 3D and looks too.

Better yet it's the Dark Knight version (I don't know, the colour I guess?)

Move over Eachine/JJRC H8. You got competition!

This little micro quadcopter has something for everyone. It's a nice stable flier at beginner's rate, very maneuverable at intermediate, and just insane yaw at expert. Oh did I mention that it can flip and fly inverted? The only thing that would have made it perfect is if they'd have put better lights on it.

Find it here from Banggood.

Pro's
- Stable flier at beginner, maneuverable quadcopter at intermediate, insane yaw rate at expert.
- Great flipping quadcopter, with both 360 and 180 degree flips.
- Flies very well both normal side up and upside down.
- Headless mode and fast one key return
- Relatively inexpensive.

Con's
- Poor lighting. Not a good night flier.
- Can be unstable combining expert rate with headless mode. Insane yaw rate pirouettes just ain't an option

And here's my flight with it

Considering the transmitter, and the programming of the rates, I wonder if this is just a H8 3D with a different body shell? Can it also do a barrel roll when you give forward, then center sticks, and while it still moves forward due to the built up momentum, hit flip button and aileron, to make it roll?

Well, It is a H8 3D with different body shell. Or the H8 3D is a H22 3D with different body shell, if the JJRC came first. H22 3D also has add-on board on the receiver, all in all making this quad almost 3 g heavier than the H8 3D.

I find it handles a breeze a little less than the H8 3D, probably due to the bigger surface area of the body and frame. In medium rates it flies about the same as the H8 3D, on high rates the H22 has the crazy yaw that we've come to love, and hate, from other quads like the H20 and H8 Mini. Nice to impress spectators, but not very practical when flying around, as it results in a lot of turns spinning out. Much prefer the max yaw rate of the H8 3D, or the Floureon H101, which has fast yaw but a very proportional rudder response, so it's still quite easy to make wide turns.

Also, don't crash the H22 3D, as the paint looks great, but chips off easily.

Btw, anyone found good replacement motors other than stock? It uses an odd motor size, 7 x 17 mm, instead of the more common 7 x 20 and 7 x 15...
