Thanks guys. Found an empty lobby on campus this afternoon to stretch its legs. Flies really really nice, but you've got to keep a close watch on the bank angle. Also, even in a bigger space, the 72 inch span takes up a lot of room, and you need to plan turns well in advance. Negotiating above the tables and below the overhang was a bit tricky.

72 inch Span Deadalus Model (1 min 24 sec)

Last thing to do is add the pilot

Adam,

the bigger Daedalus looks great. Also I like your box for transporting the models in, I get a kick out of details like that.

It looks absolutely fantastic in flight. Not much room for error there!

And yes, the box looks really nice. I can't think if any other way to carry it (or them) if the wind is above two miles an hour!

Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting it into a proper sized flying space. As for the box. I have a hard time just walking around indoors with the little one :P

I don't know, Parky. That's not such a bad 1979 picture of you.

I could post the drawings, but I would not recommend making one if you do not have access to some sort of automated cutter.

Finally got around to adding a pilot, surprisingly difficult to find a good photo of a recumbent bicyclist, so I had to make it SouthPark style by cutting out arms/legs and pasting them together.

Just found this thread - very nice work.
Now can we expect a model of Chrysalis as well?!
