Yup

BF-110, and BF-109. Both flew great. do a search on KMP BF-110 and KMP BF-109 in this forum.

Here is a couple pics of my BF109... don't have any BF-110 handy.

I want to do the Hurricane sometime soon.

Heres a few pictures of my ESM/YT Hurricane converted to electric.
Span 82ins....Weight 21.5lbs....Power train is a Turnigy 63-74-170 Kv 170
Turnigy Stililon 100amp speed controller, and 2x5000 30/40C Lipos. Tests have shown 62amps on a 21x13 Xoar prop. The model also has a sound system from RC Soloutions with 2x 2ins speakers in the wing. I added a better scale tail wheel, full cockpit detail, Volks filter under the cowl which directs air onto the batteries, and a rather heavy "Elite Forces" hence the 21.5 lbs weight. I should also add the Rx Batteries and sound system batteries are both in the cowl along with 6ozs of lead. At present its awaiting its maiden.

Looks great greyfly!

Though I have never been fond of the Volks filter desert versions, you've done a remarkable job with the repaint and weathering. Good luck on the maiden.

Nice, is there any chance that you can send a sound clip or Video with the sound system. I am interested in trying one any assistance or guidance appreciated.

Cheers

Ive done several ESM planes..both electric and glow.

As for the dauntless...it wouldnt require anything different then what any of us have done with an ME-109, stuka, or the likes.
You can use an e-flite power 110 on 8s 5000 with a 20x10 2 blade prop..or an 18x12...or a reasonably sized 3 blade with a pitch of 10 to 13.

here is pic of one of two of tm ESm ME-109's. This one is the electric one

Tom the 3rd shot of your ESM/YT 109E just looks fantastic. These ESM models really do come up superbly when skilled people apply their abilities to them.

I have looked on the YT page and ESM have alot of stuff coming in the near future including...

Val
109G
190D

the 109G could be an absolute dream for customisers with the endless paint possibilities that the german warbirds offer.

Greyfly, your hurricane is another example that can only inspire others to have a crack at detailing their models to a high standard. Well done bud.

Generally, once you have the proper power setup figured out, ESM models are no harder to convert than any other fuel version. The only exception that I have read is on the ESM Storch; apparently alot of builders have had troubles getting it to fly correctly.
The major thing to watch out for is the CG. Their warbird models are pretty scale so they have a tendancy to require alot of extra weight in the nose to attain proper CG. Other than that, it is building a battery compartment and access hatch (if you do not want to be always taking the wing off or if all your electonics are all forward in the cowl.)

Right now, I am converting the Hawker Typhoon and later this winter , the new LA-7.

Cheers,
Peter
