Sounds to me like the Efflux Fans. Aren't they 12 blade and aluminum?

Sounds decent to me, I wonder what the price is....

I usually do a pre-flight check. However, Yesterday I missed a key area that seemed okay when visually looking but after a flight and almost losing the Flanker I thought to put up a warning. CHECK THE HORIZONTAL STAB MOUNTING. Mine looked okay but was really loose after landing when things just did not feel right. Seems they glue over painted surface when mounting the bracket.

About a week and a half ago I was doing a flat spin and on the way down it lost control and found its way in front of the sun. I lost orientation; the crash was nose first. Needless to say the front of the fuse was demolished and the point of impact had the nose cone buried at least 2 or 3 inches into the soft earth. Once I realized everything else was undamaged I eventually ordered a new fuse from Banana hobby, free shipping. The jet is now back up and ready for a maiden, perhaps Monday because a hurricane has just passed us by here in South Florida and there is some considerable residual wind.
At this point I have three aircraft; the SU, Stuka and Airfield F-15 that are operational. I also still have the Walkera V450D01 in the black Airwolf body which is still flying.

Its great that BH got spare fuselages finally. Ots a much needed spare part for those oops/just incase days.

Same here. My horizontal stabilizer came lose in the air. I got the plane down without too much damage. The plastic that supports the elevator's axis had only very little glue on it.

I've got a couple of pilot figures, but they're not scale enough to do this one justice. Wish there was one for the Su in the same quality as in my Sabre (even though it's not quite scale either...

Ya your not gonna find a pilot like that unless you hack saw it off to fit, but you lose the scale of the bottom of the torso.

This is the pilot im using, better than the stock.

Yep, they're pretty good. Got one in my Vampire. I have another one on my shelf that will fit, but he's got an F-16 helmet and US gear. Might be better than the stock one though ...

This guy looks a bit better, even if he has the wrong life-support gear.
Added some glass cockpit detail, and an acrylic bead for the IRST lens.

Completely unnecessary quasi-scale detail, but it adds some life to it.
