Transmitter & Reciever = Wired??

Hi everyone!

In my project, I have decided to build something similar to a submarine. I have currently connected a motor to an ESC, which will then be connected to a receiver. However, rather than using a transmitter to send signals using wireless, I need it to transmit it through a wire. I've had a look around but I haven't been able to find one transmitter and receiver that is connected by wire.

Does anyone have any idea of how I could solve this problem?

Is it possible to use a transmitter with a trainer plug and directly control the model?
