If you decide to split it, I would like the cowl, rudder, and prop.

My "Little Butch" is sitting in the living room, has been neglected since Jan 10. I flew it at the Frosty Dog E-fly in at Triple Tree and it has sat since. I'm still on the fence about it. It sure does look good and flies OK but I think I want another Das Ugly Stik.

Just a heads up. I would jump on the back orders before they go for good!
Aus warehouse have stopped their back orders already.
I think I just wiped out the Aus Warehouse.

So, I have ordered the spare parts to make up a plane but I'm guessing I'll need control rods for evelator and rudder as well. I'm pretty sure the main wing comes with them. Maybe not.

Any suggestions? Sizes? Links to HK for a suitable replacement?

Any of you guys got some old ones laying around that don't mind parting with?
This is a good kit to get for pushrods!!

I'm still wondering why they discontinued this plane?? Not to long ago Stuart came on this thread and asked us for suggestions for a new color scheme!!

Thanks Lurch, I've been looking at all the Durafly push rod spares and this one did come to mind.
I do remember Stuart asking that question but it was a while ago? Perhaps they've just lost interest and are moving on but I really think they should keep this plane in their line-up. It's a great looking and flying mid sized plane. I'm really kicking myself for selling the NIB one I had!

I ordered all the spare parts to create another, apart from the fuselage which is on back order. Fingers crossed Murphy's Law doesn't come in and ruin that back order or I'll be real pissed!

Just a note on those control rods. Aus warehouse is out of stock and guess what? You can't even back order them. Does that mean the Skymule is going to be discontinued as well?!?

If you order them through the International warehouse, they treat it as a Large Box item and sting you $16 for a $3.84 part!! What a joke!!

Are you using the original prop and ESC?

Just throwing this out there but does anyone have some of that black nylon cord used for the rigging they might want to part with?

Thanks JamesonC!

Does anyone know where to source those tiny rigging springs?
