Thanks, Greywing.

I read that the latest is a _1_1 prop. I remember the original prop was a big problem, and the _1 was supposed to fix it, so that's what I got. But I'm not sure why they have now gone to a _1_1 (though I can guess that the _1 was still breaking sometimes).

I have both the _1 and the _1_1, and I cannot tell any difference between the two when holding them together in my hand. Maybe the newer one is made of a different type of plastic. I used the _1 for about a year with no problems and retired it just on principle.

Thanks, Jovanx. I figured _1 was probably okay (but _1_1 is probably even more reliable).

It's just that after reading these threads the other day, I was worried my Radian was going to fall out of the sky and kill somebody (or end up in the drink, as I was flying over water a lot)

you guys have been so technical lately that I had to go out and lose my wings in flight just to amuse you all- My _1 prop broke in flight and shook the wings out of the saddle- the plane fell into a river and Eckace waded out to save my plane- what a friend...what an awesome crash video I got out of it.... enjoy
Radian under bridge and into the river ! Epic fail.... (9 min 9 sec)

He did it on purpose to get that great video. A soft landing like that wing made takes great skill and judgment!

model airplanes: wondrous madness

somehow this reminds me of what i say in my blog:

Biography
my view of life: 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' said Alice. 'Oh, you can't help that,' said the cat. 'We're all mad here.' (from 'Alice in Wonderland')

GPS On Radian?

Ahoy everyone! Anyone have a GPS locator on their plane? I'm looking for a GPS locator to put on my Radian so when it flys away I can find it. Thanks, Capt'n Ron
