Max current

Hi, I would like to know how much is the max. current carried by the 10CH receiver. I am planning to use the 10 channel receiver with 5 HS 5955TG and 2 std servos. Do I need something like a "power box"?

Thank you
Stefano

If I remember correctly its something like 70 amps, a lot more than those servos will pull or the connectors could handle. You will have to worry more about the batteries and what connectors you use than the Rx.

70 amps @ 30 volts. However, the servo pin won't handle more than about 5 amps of current. This is why it is recommended that you have two battery inputs into the receiver if you are driving high amperage servos.

Hi again Jim,
I hope I'm not being a bother but this is another note that would be good under "Important News and Information"

Thank you. Summarizing: the amperage is not a problem for the receiver but is a problem for battery.
