Building A Super Lazy Ace

I always wanted a big biplane. I was in a hobby shop in Wichita (we only go to Wichita about once in 3 years) and I found an aluminum landing gear replacment for I think a 4-Star 120. So I bought it . Then I sent for the Lazy Ace plans. I wanted more aierobatic abillity than the flat bottom fing and tail would provide. So I just made up my own semetrical airfoil. I did away with the rubber band gear and wing mounts.

This what it looks like today with probibly 200 flights. With the .90 it weghted 13 lbs. With the G2300 it weghts 15lbs. The engine is so heavy I had to move the batterys to the back of the fuselage and put 3 oz. over the tail wheel .
I used to be reluctant to fly it becouse the fuel coast so much. It flat emptys the 16 oz. tank in 10 min.. I have been using Bryon 10/20 and it coast more per hour to fly than my real Piper Cub coast. I have been getting back into U/C and old Fox 35 but I couldn't get 30% castor fuel that it requires so I bought some methanol for $2.50/ gal mixed in the 30% castor with on nitro and it worked perfict. So the Super Tigre is suposed to use 10% castor so I tryed that and that big old engine seems even happer than ever
