Peelers Park in Madison.

There are also fields in Cain Ridge and Brentwood.

Can we get a video on tumbles? I'm not understanding how to differ them from a snap.

Lots of topics so little time. Bonedoc has videos on Tumbles also.

I am on Spring Break so I am trying to spend all my time flying instead of on the sim.

Tumbles can sometimes be just a string of snaps.

I'll be 60 this year and I refuse to grow up!!! Feels good when a 12 year old tells you you're crazy. I lucked out and had a personal tumbling lesson from Bonedoc, that's why I can't stop doing them. Can't go wrong with his advice.

They are easy, go inverted, full throttle

Left stick bottom left
right stick top right

Add some vertical climb for fun.

You can tumble from any orientation, upright, inverted, upline, downline, really doesn't matter.

In my mind, tumble just means a rotation about all three axis! Place any stick in any corner, place the other stick an any corner and you get a tumble. Which corners they go in determines the intensity and violence of the tumble (airspeed notwithstanding).

Timing of moving the sticks can matter too- much like a snap roll requires the wing stalled before the aileron (and rudder) forces the rotation of the fuselage....

Nice! I got it about 3 times out of 30 tries today, lol. I hold the ailerons too long I think.

On the Imac website there should be some videos that show the sequences and such.

Sorry for the lack of videos of the late. I have been enjoying flying IRL instead of on the sim.

Hopefully I will get some gumption and whip up a new episode or two.

Great! Could you please include a mode 1 view, as well?
