Lanternfly, as a very interested aerial photographer, KAP enthusiast etc etc I am very interested in your project. I would very much like to know the weight of the camera in gms, wingspan of the kite, overall weight etc and of course I hope! to see some great results. Good luck.

with a camera-weight of 10-150 grs (... I guess)., mounted on top of the tension-bar, You'll move the horizontal CoG much vertical up from where it is in the 'normal' case.

Worst case: The dehidral of your Delta-Box is not able to neutralize that massive vertical CoG - movement - and Your Delta-Box flies upside-down - or makes wild shakes in the air, badly to control.

I've mounted last year my canon Powershot SX 120 on the opposite site of the LiPo-velcro, of my 300cm Delta Box, near the CoG, and it workted fine. The Delta-Box was more stable then, but the motor had much more work to keep the kite in the air.

Flatterman, I too have a Delta Box and think it could be a good kite for KAP, both as a powered kite and as a single line kite.

KAP gear could be attached to the single line harness (under the kite).

What do you think?

I have tried flying it with the camera attached, it can fly but not stable.
The video captured was not smooth and clear as the kite is like going through
roller coaster.
Will re-attach to another position and re-fly again.

Hello,

I've read many things about Delta Box Vector kite. I would like to use this kite to take photos (not videos).
I wonder if :
I can install a GoPro (regarding the weigh of this camera)
The Delta Box can fly slow enough so the photos are not "vague", I mean good quality
