Great link John thanks.

As more parts trickle in I got a few of the horizontal stab stuff. I want a ball bearing set up for the flying stab so it's super tight with no slop and friction free. Here is what I have so far.
I need to mount the bearings in aluminum somehow so I am shoping around for that.

I figure I can use the spare strut main body for a bearing holder. Dang I think I use more brain cells scratch building than I do being an air traffic controller. Just don't tell the flying public that

cool i ck it out ...i ordered some ply wood and balsa from the site J linked ..seamed like really good prices ...but you have to order $25.00 so im stocked up on ply for a build or two.

Came in 1/2 pound under estimate on sheeting the wings. Will see after glassing. Retracts test fit checks out pretty close to spot on, need a little tweaking to get them height adjusted and leveled.

Tomorrow I will see if I can give her some ailerons and flaps

Main strut compresion test. Looks good. ..Main struts compress about 1/4" under the weight of the fans and ESC's simulated by the two batts.
