I'm not asking for help, I would like some of you good folks to pass this on
to where it may do some good.
My wife will be 84 on july 7th, she has breast cancer. Her co-payment for chemo is
$485 per treatment. This co-payment would be picked up by a medicaid program
except for one problem. SHE IS TOO OLD! Every working person pays into medicaid
all their working life. The program that would pick up the co-payment cuts off at
age 65. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A DEATH SENTANCE TO ME. Our only income is
social security, do the math.

Yet there is a great hullabaloo about universal health care down there, and how it is unaffordable, and u-American... Somehow I expect castigation for this remark. I, for one, am sorry for your plight, Mr. Smith, I really am.

Health care and health insurance in America is a fking joke. Insurance companies have ONLY one thing in mind, making tons of money. Any body that will try to tell you anything else is misinformed or full of s---.

So sorry to hear about your bride.
Please just get her the best care you can.
We will be praying for you
I'm very happy to have my Health Insurance coverage to cover my family.
I also like the Ins. Co. making a profit because that mean they should be staying in business.
Would I like it cheaper, You Bet!
Yet, I don't know why anyone would want the Gov. running their health care for them.
If you really think a Gov. Bureaucratic would be so much better then a Prvt. Co. to
provide health care you must have your head embedded!
Lost my Sister-in-law today to Ovrn. Cans.
Health insurance Covered most all of her treatment.
Some thing where question by the Ins. Co. but all in all, I can tell you
it was much easier working with a company that wanted to keep your business
Then the Gov. that could care less.
