Flying Beagle's Zeppelin-Staaken XIV “R” Bomber 2nd Flight

Here is the second flight of Jim's Staaken bomber. The flight was on Friday, July 11 at the Mid America E-fly event in Ann Arbor, MI.

and also for posting them so quickly after driving back home today.
we had a great weekend, even with the weather.

That looks really nice Jim!

Great to see a rarely modeled bird...and one that seems to be well detailed. You also did a fine job of bucking that wind with those mile-wide sails.

A VERY special model !! ....well done Flying Beagle...it had great *presence* in the air........and is a credit to your skill and the choice of prototype was perfect.

Many models I see are great and I'm very impressed....but after seeing this ...I really want to build one.....and I am a WW2 Warbird nut !

Awsome job on the Staaken. It looks fantastic in the air. I am glad that you were able to get the kinks worked out. It flies very nicely and looks great in the air.

That plane was amazing! I love the WWI German Bombers, This is one of my favorites.

Great model

I was impressed,as were others who seen it fly.Well detailed plane..Congrats on a fine flight.I took one still in the pits.
