Finally had the chance to check it out. It was a good article.

I finally built my little flea. What a neat airplane.

50%expo on the "elevator" and still a rocky takeoff.
This was my first balsa build and covering.
Very cool plane. Just floats.
It takes a light touch to fly it well and is adorable!
The only place I deviated from the plans was to change the rudder to a pull-pull setup. I'm sure it didn't need it and imparted no advantage, but I could, so I did
I am wondering if I can dispense with the rubber bands and glue the top wing on?

Here's a gopro (ie small) video of the maiden.

Steven's aero S-POU (2 min 6 sec)

The sunset sky almost makes up for the small plane in the video.

Looks like you've made some changes, can you share what motor and electronics you are using?

BTW - I agree, great little airplane.

The SPOU is my current favorite micro

SPOU (3 min 3 sec)

I ordered the Hergt and covering pack, but am disappointed that the AeroLite is so shiny, I don't think I'll use it for the Hergt 1918 after all

Love my Stevens Aero Kits! I have a G-480 and a Daddy-O. The G-480 was just finished and the Daddy-O is a little over 2 years old now. The Daddy-O is one of my favorite planes. The G-480 now has 5 flights and flies great as well! Keep up the good work SA!

I'm going to have to get a Daddy-O for sure...... I hear nothing but praise for that design, but then again it's a Stevens kit!

I just picked up a Buzzbomb 100 & Liddlerod kit from the Australian dealer Nitrodude.

I started on the Buzzbomb last night & within 2 hours had the Fuz & tail feathers almost completed even with a 2 year old running around like a madman & into everything not tied down.
I have to say I am massively impressed with the quality of the kit. Everything fits perfectly & the tabs system means this will be the straightest model I have ever built.
Stevens Aero should be very proud of the kits they are producing. I've never seen anywhere this level of quality in design, materials and instructions from anyone else, let alone at this price point.

I'll post some pics once it's in one piece.
