While looking about trying to find mustang placards for the " Belle ", I came across this site. Plenty of good placard pics for the scale builders.

Thanks Woody, I'm always looking for a good resource for making my own graphics.

Decal application has started. Port side done. The " Belle " is starting to show signs of life.

Thx Shung.
They do enhance the overall appearance.
Will only get a little done today. It's yardwork then off to the north coast for the weekend.

Wow, I am truly speechless. ....Just noticed that you are not too far. IF I move to Cols (long shot) I would have to meet you and see this art in person!
Cheers DSA

Better then the inkjet that I used to use. The paper lays down/conforms better and the colors don't run since they are burned onto the paper. The stencils are easy enough do, look nicer and are closer to scale size. Fancy stuff I get from Calle's. Calle's vinyl is thin but ( to me ) on this size model, they still look like stickers. I really like a painted on look so once I have the design from Calle I scan it then print it up. To me it just looks better.

Shame the old ALPS printers are not around anymore. I had one for years, used it to print model railroad decals. They used dye sub for printing, they could print white and metallic colors like silver and gold. They were very slow, which I think is what killed their popularity with people not interested in making their own decals.
