Talon V2 mounts $8.83 Buy three of these and its $26.49
HAL mounts $ 2.85* with Buddy Code. Buy three of these and its $8.55

Big Difference i think
These appear to have no holes drilled on the side to mount the landing gear to. I think diameter wise you're good but no landing gear mount could be solved with a central heli type landing gear.

I'd like to see a detailed picture of how you attach the skids and possibly what skid you bought.

A little lunchtime buzzin'... watching before you eat is better though I think.
Jello and high yaw rates might make this a little tough to watch...

Video 1 was a bit useless

Gents,

Found something when modeling up the talon tricopter. The geometry for the servo to tail linkage was a bit out.(see pic)

Installing a spacer (M3 washer) should help in correcting the error and reduce stress on you servo..

Anybody experiement with a body on this tri. a 250/450 size canopy.

I see the IDEAFLY IFLY-4 Canopy as a possibility.

If anyone has pictures with their canopy adaptation, I'm interested.

Just posted a description of how I fixed the sloppy tail servo mechanism.

Simply added TWO thrust bearings and it turned into a perfectly tight and stable mechanism:

I had been considering getting some thrust bearings. Good to see someone else tried it. Just ordered some.

Finally have my tri together, I'm very much a newbie, but the build went ok, just took my time. One small problem though, I can't get airborne. I'm giving it near full throttle before the right arm starts to lift then I have to stop as the props on the other sides are getting close to the ground.

Prop direction appears is ok, must be something simple I'm missing, any ideas?
