8 lipos later (OMG this thing flys 15minutes each lipo!) and it's holding well.
I'm amazed at how it's easy and effective to repair foamy airplanes, coming from helis where everything is just a disaster waiting to happen that can totally annihilate the bird in a fraction of second.

Here some tape, hot water and glue and the day is saved.
I managed to strip the cheap rudder servo: moved the gears, recalibrate the TX for smaller width of movements and the things flies no problem. These things are just meant to fly.
