Mini-Review
Su 37 Terminator from Miniprop (with video post 9)

I bought this EPP kit from Staufenbiel in Germany. 40Ä. The kit contains EPP pieces and some hardware.
You need to buy motor, esc, servo's, receiver and battery.
This will be my first vector jet.
Pieces are well cut and fits nicely.
Building as usual from EPP and inserted carbon strips and rods glued with Cyano.
I Used big square hardwood blocs as templates and weight to ensure flatness.

I will use a Turnigy D2822/14 Brushless Outrunner 1450kv weighting around 38grs, a 25A esc and 4 pces HXT 900 9 grs servos I have in stock. Battery 3s 800 mah.

Ready to fly

It's finished and ready to fly at 379 grs inclusive a 3 s 800 mah battery.
Seems me possible to save 5 grs on receiver, 10 grs on esc and wiring.. not more.
6 grs servo's seems me too weak (gears mainly)
I did yesterday a quick promising first fly before rain: very powerfull, elevator hyper reactive, very sensitive to adverse effect of the rotating prop. I maidened with a 8 x 4.3 and will next fly prop down to 7 x 4 (as on the pictures enclosed that were made after maiden at home. I will install a conter weight at the tip of one wing.
Consumption on the 8 x 4.3 was too high at 17 A. My test with the 7 x 4 drops consumption at 12 A thus perfect for this motor.

Refuses to turn to right... Ideas?

Made a second flight with the 7/4 prop: power is OK, turns and banks very well to the left and nearly not to the right! Counter torque effect! It's not my first pusher prop jet, but seems me odd at that level of counter torque with such a small prop! Any idea?

If you get some altitude and cut the throttle are you able to turn right? Did you have to add a lot of trim to keep it flying straight and level?

Your idea is great! But it's solved!
I woke up this morning with one solution: adjust side trust to the right and add a small 6 grs weight on the right wing tip! I did a quick test and i's fantastic! My original mistake was a motor mount slightly glued with a left side trust, maybe one degree but in addition with the torque was a big hint! Flies now great, I did 2 packs with great pleasure! Thanks for sharing your idea as it was a good way to try!

SU 27 Miniprop (1 min 14 sec)

To show you this plane potential. My first "self video recording" thanks to a camera attached on my cap. This plane needs some speed to be on tracks

See this all on my blog

All the informations condensed here: this plane is a real pleasure and managing cobra's is a kind of play I enjoy. I do it lower and lower until... we will see
