airy servo spare gears

yes i ve fixed 3 stripped servos i had in 3 minutes..althought airy gears are different in size as you can see in photos , the fit is perfect in the plastic body

I dont know if airy gears are more durable than stock thought as helipal claims .

i ve also bought some servo gears from oomodel, so i ll compare both sets

Edit

Airy gear set gives a more tight feeling when you move the horn up and down >i would say the movement of the stock set is more smooth.

Throttle Curve and Wind

The FBL system in V120d02s flies very good in strong winds, but I like to make it handle gust better. So far heli being push down/up which is natural, using collective management. Thinking of tweaking throttle curve to make it stronger. Using stock motor. I don't fly 3D, just FFF, nose-in and circuits. Any recommended Idle-up throttle curve? Using wk-2801 Pro.

Normal = 0,40,70,90,100
Idleup1 = 100, 90,85,90,100
Idleup2 = 0 flat (this is my throttle hold use on right side)
Gryosens = 80%

Thinking of trying 100 Flat curve for idle-up, but won't that cut down my flight time and may be too much headspeed or harder to handle?

A brushless motor is more efficient when maxed out

Yeh my are is pretty windy also when I lift off I'm in normal and the heli is all over the place then I flip it to st1 which is 100% and the tail holds solid it's a night and day difference

Same here, take-off in normal and immediately go idle-up. Fly and land in idle-up. Otherwise heli moving around too much. Can't wait to try 100% flat curve.

The difference you have between flat and what you already have in ST1 will make no significant difference to your flight time. I also run 80% in ST1 and 100% in ST2 - there's not a huge difference in power but my PIT curves are -80% --- +80% and -100% --- +100% and that does make a difference. (I use TRADJ to limit the travel not PIT curve - It's down around 60% on my semi-S 120).

Hey guys long time no post lol since I've been back in the states I've been super busy with my new planes and multirotors. Today I felt like taking my v120 to the field today just to see how I fly heli's still. Man it flew amazing as usual in 10-15 mph wind it was nuts I need to turn the gain down a tad but I even flew a little inverted with the crazy wind my friend couldn't believe it, heck I couldn't believe it lol. I was just starting to think maybe I should sell all my heli's and just fly my multirotors and planes. Then I flew a ill 3d with this heli and I quickly remembered why I first got into rc heli's before planes.

I just did a bad thing, I ordered a 450 when I promised myself I wouldn't till the end of the year.

HK450GT Full Alloy - $46 (unlike the other HK helis that are made by Skyra this is actually a color swapped CopterX CX450SE V2)
Turnigy Typhoon 450 2215H brushless outrunner - $13
Plush 40 amp ESC- $19
4x Towerpro MG90's - $8 each (one extra just in case)
Fitec 9357 digital tail servo - $12
Walkera RX802 reciever - $34
Assan GA-250 MEMS gyro - $19 (hobbyking was out so I got it from a US shop)
Whole bunch of spares and other stuff like a set of fixed links for the upper head blade balancer swashplate leveler etc.

Total price for the helicopter itself not including spares and equipment $133.

My v120do2s flew a million times better than my belt cp v2 carbon edition. Good luck with your heli though.

That's identical as well to the EXI 450 Pro which I have and it's a very sweet heli. The only issue I had with it was the tail control slider ball was a bit too small for the control arm so there was slop and my tail kept wagging. Kept thinking it was my gyro/vibration I had a spare tail assembly and as soon as I swapped it out and the slop was gone, the tail held solid. I also have a 2215h motor btw.

I'm not doing any 3d yet, just sport flying, but this heli flies and tracks likes it's on rails (compared to my kds450). This and my v120d02s are my favorite flyers. You'll like it!

I was thinking the same thing about the flybar lmao I only have 1 fly barred heli and I only kept it because it has to much money into it and I figured heck I'll keep 1 flybar red to remember where I came from.
