Aurora Ver. 1.09 Software Update

Just helped out my friend to update his transmitter with Ver. 1.08 and found that Ver. 1.09 is now available. I loaded Ver.1.09 but can't find any detailed info on this newest update. Anyone out there that knows what all has been updated? It did mention some of the changes on the update screen but after you have updated the tx. the info is no longer available.

I'm surprised at how quietly they slipped this out. With the clamour lately about their faulty timers, I'd think they'd want their being fixed to be shouted from the rooftops.

I always like to wait a few months after an update comes out and review the reports before I move forward with anything. I haven't heard too much in regards to the latest September 1.09 update, does this update seem to be solid?

Thanks fellas! On a side note my timers always worked but still I wanted to update just so the system is up to date but didn't want to move forward without any confirmation. All to often you hear about updates and then you hear the horrow storries of people crashing planes etc.

Updates will never negate the need for user to pre-flight check all functions during the daily range check of each unit as in:
1. Hitec HPP-22 2.4GHz Programmer - Manual, FAQ - How to Install & Use
extract (as in firmware upgrade instructions & notes):
"2. Check all Model Functions.
Aurora 9 programming is so flexible that no firmware designer could ever envisage and take into account
all the possible user settings and ensure that absolutely none will be effected during an upgrade a<snip>"

2. Extract from V1.08 Firmware Update Instruction Sheet attached.

3. .V1.09 Firmware update notification
Latest Hitec 2.4GHz System Firmware Update Manual for HPP-22 & A9 V1.09 is attached.

I think we all know you always feel the need to fill threads up with your typical link factory but A.T. really bro? You felt the need to voice something, no-one even mentioned anything about "updates negating pre-flight checks," come on. really, really? Makes me internally think to myelf. "no _____ sherlock"

Well, I agree I don't range check everytime or even once a quarter !!

I just upgraded my A9 to 1.09. Should I also upgrade the Receivers ??

Does this upgrade improved latency issue of A9.

Also, there are no details, videos, ads for Aurora 9X 4K processor. Pl. share if available.
