CP Rotor Question

Hello,

Got a quick question for ya all. Can The pitch on the main rotor blades be set at a fixed degree perminatly and be flown like a fixed pitch heli? The Reason i ask is i found a great deal on an EXI 450 PRO CARBON FIBER BELT DRIVE KIT and was tossing around the idea of setting the blade pitch and flying it 4 channel untill i make the move to 6 channel. one would think this could be done with turn buckles, ball ends and a fixed anchor point instead of a servo horn. Any input would be greatly appreciated

You can do that, I just don't know why you think it'll be easier to fly it that way. A little masochistic in my opinion.

You may be better off using your radio to make it more docile if you have a programmable transmitter. You can use your throttle and pitch curve to accomplish what you want to do.

Nevermind about the fixed pitch conversion. I just finished watching a series on building an EXI 450 on youtube by MIKEYSRC and he cleared up a ton of things for me. Like winginman mentioned the trottle and pitch curve setting can tame everything down so it is easier to handle for me. I was just thinking that a cp heli was alot more complicated than it is. I do want a good heli to learn as well as grow with and with all the setting to be tweaked and dialed to my liking i can sure see myself have a lot of fun.
