Well, I'm not sure why I still have no plans then....

Oh well, back to waiting.

Thanks for the info.

I am glad to hear RCM plans is not dead. I ordered 2 sets on Nov. 5, 2012. They charged my card Nov.6, 2012. Tomorrow it will be 4 months and no response.

Well, in theory if you call them you could get your plans...
But really, shouldn't they have already called you? Thats my thought at least.

I called many times and sent several e-mails, but all were ignored.

I hate to persist, but you seem to be the exception in that actually got something from RCM Plans service, not the norm....

Is there any clue that you can give us or more information, such as when you ordered??
I'm guessing that you may have ordered before they started taking money and not shipping out plans. Maybe last June??

Actually last summer sounds about right , I had to call after a bit of a wait and I spoke to Casey , soon after that I got my plans . I truly hope they come to their senses for the sake of you and I and others who love to actually build . If they can't figure out how to do it , I hope they can sell the rights to someone who can .

I've ordered from RCM on two previous occasions and even though we have the slow boat service to the islands, it came in a month, which is to be expected. My last order was placed at the end of January. I sent a couple of e-mails but they were unanswered. I tried calling but there was no pick-up or even an answering machine. I called yesterday and got a recording saying that they are working on a backlog. After seeing the other comments, I will be patient. In reality, I have a couple of other projects, including the Gryphon that just came in.

I've had similar experiences with Carstens plans (Flying Models) ... I think these places simply wait until they have enough plans to make setting up the printers worth their while.

I would be surprised if they had printers. They are very big and expensive and are becoming obsolete. They are likely few and far between today. They are probably only used for legacy prints.

That's why I like to have all my plans from old woodies scanned. If I need a copy later, I just take the file to Kinkos, and they print them out.

I would be happy if they just e-mailed a tiff or pdf file to me and called it even. At least I'd get it right away.
