Graupner Z-Drive, aka GR1761

I've been looking for a drive system that is similar to the Graupner GR1761 of which I know is no longer in production. Anyone have any sources to drive systems such as this one that can still be bought?

"Krick Modelltechnik" has some, they look nearly the same. Diameter from 40, 50 and 70mm.
Don't know where you can buy them in the USA, didn't find a shop.

Found the Graupner Schottel (1761) at amazon.de

http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_sb_nos...chottelantrieb

Can't find the language settings there, only german language. I order sometimes goods at amazon usa or uk. Works fine.
Not sure how it works for you ordering at amazon germany.
Maybe this amazon.de "English Help Pages" will help you thru the process.

Chris

P.S. The 1 star rating says, the drive doesn't fit in the seabex one, but the quality of the drive is good.

Bauer Modelbau has taken up producing it's own schottels plus they
distribute the brass drives, and a reproduction of the Voith Schneider drive.

If they are also reproducing the Graupner drives, then those would be the
Schottel Antrieb I, and Schottel Antrieb II.

Cornwall provides great service to the USA, but be sure to verify that they
have the product in stock before proceeding to order.

Hey, thanks for all the great info folks, I really appreciate it. I wanted to install one or maybe two of these in a Springer tug.

They have some great looking drives, but the prices make my eyes water...
