What? Lose all that weight only to add it back with a big battery? I'd keep it light with 2200s. You can still get decent flight times with them. That's just me though. I don't fly any of my planes much over 5 minutes though.

Same here 4:30 is what I set everything to, well except EDF's 2:30 for thems.

Go with some high C 1800mAh or even 1300mAh and you will have an anorexic Pitts. I find that my Pitts and Sbach get my 2200mAh 45c's really toasty where my 1800mAh 65c's are barely warm.

I wanted to get the Turnigy Nano Tech 2200 4s 45-70 C packs but they are backordered in the US warehouse.....
Anyone know of another source other than Hobbyking ?

I'm happy with these. Mine have performed better then the HK Nanotechs. Usually takes 3-5 days to get them depending on when you order them.

Good point on the wind. It's normally pretty windy here when it cools off so lightweight planes aren't always the most fun.

I may have to give the ValueHobby batteries a try. I've heard others complimenting them also. I've been buying GensAce from Hobbypartz but the size I want seems to be always out of stock. I really like them. I've heard some horror stories about their customer service though but my orders have always been correct so never a problem for me. http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-2200-4s1p.html

It's getting its maiden today!

Did the maiden flight, and 3 more today at the field. Everyone loved seeing the biplane. There were an usually large number of people at the field for a weekday and they were all asking where I got it. All were shocked when I told them the price!

Can't wait to fly it some more.

And, from the description, it comes with a battery! At least it isn't listed as "required equipment". It usually is if necessary.

I wouldn't count on the lipo coming with the ARF version. Probably just a typo...

It would have to be several typo's. It's pretty specific in at least 2 places. Plus the omission of a battery from "required equipment". But it is unusual for sure. That gives me doubts.
