Corsair to Europe???

When is the GWS F4U coming to Europe (f.i. the Netherlands)?

Looked on the internet and all vendors of this plane are outside Europe.

According to my LHS the Corsair isn't out yet! They have no estimate for its arrival. The A10 will not be in stock again until October when it will re-appear with larger fans.
Incidentally the LHS did say that they had not received any complaints about the A10 with its original issue fans.

Europe seems to be the last continent to receive new GWS products. Perhaps we are not that important area for GWS.
Our importer use airmail to get GWS products from Taiwan. So delivery time should not be the problem.

Its sad that Formosa and Corsair are not available here and wont be for a long time .

I am sorry to tell you the fact of shipping from Taiwan to USA takes 2 weeks, but 30 days to UK, and more days to inland Europe.

GWS wish every conners in the world enjoy our products ASAP. But need good importer to handle distribution at the other side!

First GWS Formosa has finally arrived to Finland . Corsair and PT17 will hopefully be here before chrismast. To me that delivery time seems to be too long.
GWS seems to have some "issues" dealing with european customers. One of our dealers uses airmail to get GWS products , so delivery method shouldnt be problem.

Heh, even when dealer uses airmail ?. Thats why I think its slow.
Formosa game available just this week (monday nov 3 2003) and Corsair is still unavailable. Dont know situation in rest of Europe.

I own or have owned GWS Beaver, Mustang, Zero and 109 and have flown Moth and E-Starter. Next weekend I probably buy a new Formosa in a fair(if price is right).

Gws planes are sometimes like Christmas...They never get here soon enough .
But all this is not a big problem. Peace in earth. CYA somewhere in a big blue sky.

I earlier wrote in another thread on GWS planes in Europe, and said that GWS planes are easy to get in Sweden (although expensive).

But that does not mean we have the full range available here, we also have not seen either the Formosa nor the Corsair here, which is a shame. But not even the UK shop I have ordered from in the past has the Formosa yet. Bummer...

Maybe one should set up a GWS online shop for Europe? Unfortunately I don't have the time, but maybe someone is looking for a good business idea? :-)

Paarma & LAN

Printechobby is many times the first source for new GWS
products. We have always orders in awating first production
run, so definately Scandinavia is very well taken care of
GWS newest products. Our aircargo transit time is only few days
from GWS to Europe.
Printec stocks also a very large number of GWS motors, gearboxes
props etc. for very quick delivery.

Best regards, & vänlig hälsningar

Hannu, thanks for the info. Unfortunately it's
difficult with Finnish only for a Swede like me :-) Will an English version of the site be available (the flags seems to indicate this).

Yes, I have purchased almost all my planes from you. You received GWS Formosa this week. but GWS Corsair isnt available yet.
Yes, Finland gets new products very fast when compared to rest of Europe but there is still big cap between USA and us.
Have you ordered Corsair and PT-17 from GWS ?.

Looking forward to buy Formosa in Lahden Malliexpo.

Formosa and Corsair have been delayed when compared to USA. All this is not a big problem. So dont worry, be happy.
