I'm sure Tam's tail cone approach would enhance Gary's Mach edf as much as Gary's Velocity and Mega motors would enhance Tam's Carbon EDF system and to think that all the parts are State side! No foreign ordering!

Peter and erh, I'm just making small talk and value your opinions greatly, thanks men!

Wait... so "no" it's not working out for you.... or "no" you aren't having any overheating issues.... I see that the HET 2W-25 is 2600kv and you are running on 6S???? what about the 2W-30?? it is rated at 2200kv and is nominally rated for 8S.... so it should handle 6S with great ease. any thoughts????

We haven't run any motor in the CS fans yet. But we should have some of them here in a few days.

jk,

as you already suspect, 2700kv is too high to run the CS 10 on good 6S packs.

viperviper is probably running it on low C smallish or tired 6S packs or 2 x 3s2200s in series.

The batteries just can't deliver the amps to spin the fan up on 6S. If full throttle is used for too long, the batteries won't last too long.....

Well please by all means.... when you guys find the best het motor on 6S for this fan please let me know!!! I personally think the 2W-30 is the way to go for performance and efficiency on 6S.... but I don't have those types of funds to test my theory for myself... oh yeah please include a video!

After 255 pages I would imagine so.

The Mega is going to be a great motor option for sure.
The 16-40-1.5 RC is in stock if you need one for another jet.
Many many kvs available.

it working well for me and i don't having any overheating issues, but note i'm using 2x 3S 2200 in series. if u look at the spec of a 2w25, it can be ran at 6S. Sorry i can't advise on 2w30 as i do not hv any of it. but i'm sure u can google it with "2W30 + 6S lipo". Tonnes of info may be generated out.
