Banana Electric Configurations

Hi guys,

Just wondering what battery/servo/Rx configurations your all ended up using in the Baudis E-banana?

I've read that the GP's were the way to go a while back, but there still not available in the UK to my knowledge.

I'm using a mega 20/22/3 direct drive with 7 CP1300. But need more oomph!!!

Me,

I'm using a typhoon 10/13 with a 11x8" prop, kokam 3s 2100mah pack. The Banana goes vertical (the speed does bleed off after a couple of hundred feet!) so I am going to try a 12x6 1/2". I have got HS5125's in the wing (there was an availability issue with standard HS125's in the UK when I put mine together!) and 2xHS55's in the fuz for the v-tail.

Hope this helps,

Rich

Pulling about 30amps, at the top end of the motors range but you only need a very short motor run (10sec ish) to have the banana up as far as you can see it and still fly. Much less for stooging around.

The receiver is sited aft of the rudder servos (which you have to remove to get at it) and is a long narrow type, can't remember the manufacture off the top of my head.

Hope this helps,

Rich
