Openpilot CC/CC3D/Revo tech thread

I figured it's time to have a new thread for the Openpilot boards. I would like to keep this as technical as possible to support the hobbyist with their boards.
I will try to maintain this thread as much as I can to keep it a technical thread without the need to go through pages of unrelated talks. (Does not mean you can't have fun while you are here.)

I will start building up links to the first page for quick reference just like the other thread. Hopefully it will make your experience of using it as easy as it can be.

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

Most of everything you will need can be found here. Use the search feature on the top right. If will narrow things down for you.

OpLink. I have used this alot now. Makes tuning easy. Works just like a bluetooth connection, but much long distance.

Good stuff.. In my opinion Open Pilot is the easiest flight controler to setup and use and the GCS is the best. Also people like actionplus really help out the rest of us like myself who run into problems

The GCS is brilliant, makes it so easy to get things dialled in.
Thoroughly impressed with the cc3d too.

APM 2.5 has some serious trade offs from what I've seen. You can compare them in how well they fly. Open Pilot flies amazing and it is very easily configurable and I trust it. APM from what I've seen has horrible flight characteristics, bad control. I could be wrong since I haven't tested this for myself but I have seen it in videos and read about it from numerous people. So you get more feautres but less control.

Open Pilot is what I use when I want to fly in front of my family or something and I want to have full control and reliability.

APM 2.5 has cool features like waypoints but there is indeed a trade off and eventually the Open Pilot Revo will have many of those features too

The CC3D has the most locked in flight feeling I've experienced, more so than the multiwii and kk boards I have, feels incredibly precise/accurate.
