That was my fear. Carbon tubes or rods in grooves may not help.
Anyone who tried diagonal surface bracing with fiberglass tape?

Robert,

Exhaust opening is approximately 3 inches diameter (76.2 mm).

OK now I need to pick up fan and motors for this bad boy and so I want a low cost setup however I don't want to spend time balancing. Is there much difference between Mad thrust, Changsun and free wing 90mm 8s setup?

Thanks guys and thanks Pete

Does anyone have the manual for this plane? I need to confirm the control throws.

Thanks

Should be page 47.

Ailerons to the max, as much as possible. It will still feel sluggish at higher speeds.
Flaps 80 down, whatever the linkage can do. The bird will still glide steady then. But be prepared to apply some power during landing to control the sink rate.

Thank you!!! Much appreciated. It looks like I already have two mega 22/20/4 turn motors which I will use with existing castle speed controllers! I'll probably be on 8s which is expected approximately 2100 watts.

Very nice! Did you mix any crow into it?

Just wondering. I have Crow mixed in with my second one.

It was suggested it can help with tip stalling.

I sure as hell don't want to loose a second one.
