newbie in need of advice ?
Sorry if I have posted in the wrong area,
I was looking at purchasing a HPI Vorza Flux until some one told me they were to weighty, How true I am not sure but that comment set a seed of doubt in my mind though as it is £500 + pounds I thought I would ask.. What would be a good car that is equally as fast/ or competitive - 1/8 or 1/10 scale
Thanks in advance

The HPI Vorza Flux is a good kit. But yes it does tend to weigh more than the competition from what I've heard. It is more of a high quality basher than a racer.
So if you are racing (and it sounds like that's what you are doing) I would seriously look at the RC 8.2 or the Losi 8ight. If those are out of your budget, try looking for earlier versions of those models.
I also can't recommend the Duratrax or Ofna 1/8th scales as they have some deal killer faults for me.
