reciever advice needed
need a bit info guys,
just bought raptor v1 30, all the radio gear was in it but when powered up the reciever a hitec dual conversion fm/hfd-08rd found it to be dead,i already have a futuba r147f 7 channel reciever which i tried and it works perfect,it is not a dual conversion so will it be ok to use in this helicopter or must i have a dual conversion,i am using a futuba ff6 tx all help appreciated, ps anyone in the north east of england (i live in south shields and willing to travel) want to show me how to set it up and learn me to fly it as i am not a club type. cheers guys |

Dual coversion is less error prone than single sideband, but they both work fine. For hovering around in learning, you'll be so close interference is not a big issue.
