I'm really jealous of you SM jockeys.
I've got a vintage Avond's F-15 which I have yet to glass the wings etc
I have all the avionics, gear, turbine, EVERYTHING etc.

I need some motivation !

I just sold my Avonds F-15 this past summer. After getting my hands on this Skymaster plane, I can't imagine why anyone would want to do all that work! (of course, I'm a little bit lazy and don't really like building.)

They were definitely worth the $200.00. The front tanks are a very snug fit and I had to do some shimming of the gear to get the tires to clear the tanks when retracted.

I took pics of my fresh paint job but this site says the files are too large to post!! They are only 130 KB! Anyone know how to shrink em?

Use a photo editor like photoshop. Email them to me and I can host them.

You can shrink 'em using a foto editor - or if you don't have one of those, a cheep trick is to post the pics on one of the sites that automaticaly resizes the pics for you (eg. RCU) then just view the auto-resized pic that youve posted and do a "save as" - voilla - you have now shrunk your pic without even having an editor and can now post those pics here.

Here you go, Mike. I cropped them and cleaned them up a bit as well. The trick to getting the file size down is to crop out anything in the photo that is not needed, then reduce the photo size. If its still too big, the last thing I do is reduce the quality.

She looks good!

100kb is the file size limit for pics on Rc Groups.

Regardless of who did the job, Mike and Keith are both you doing a great job. Mike, could you send be a picture when the paint job is finished? It will be another good picture to post on our website.
