That's great news mike. What a shame though that all this disruption came from a little brick of reactive metal that probably cost no more then 30. I hope your back to status quo soon.

If I knew about which motors and ESCs to use I might stock up enough to make a quad...

Putting my chopper into some tight spaces!

Playground (3 min 23 sec)

Many props were sacrificed in the making of this video...

IMHO very bad idea to use a LIPO
unattended lipo indoors = bad idea
Forgetful distracted kids leaving a lipo on = bad idea

A sealed lead acid "alarm" type is a better idea or Li-ion

I'm up for it, I could possibly sort out a prize for the winner too - something OP related

so did my second round of FPV flight today.....feeling much better about it and some great views on a lovely blue sky day. I would estimate I made it to around 300 ft up and no more than 1000m away but I really need an ODS to assist on range.
video quality was perfect with no issues....and I even made my first FPV landing on my 4th flight of the day.
The bixler was getting thrown around some by the thermals or gusting winds but all went well.

i love the idea of the above racing....but i might need a little more stick time before trying that......and a much faster airframe than my current tri....unless I can use my bixler.

I looked at the price of some of the Hyperion's. Even with the discount they are still eye watering!

Yeah. Don't post videos like that.. You'll get Wayne started on doing things that break quads!

I don't know how other people have got on with Hyperions, but the ones I have tried have been no better than the cheaper brands anyway......

I'd give it a go.. I think I'll need more than just spare props though.

I was looking to see where these guys came from .. Melboune - Yep that explains everything!
