Tiger Moth flies!
Just got back in after my first couple of flights. I was doing figure eights in the front yard! I can't believe how docile and stable this thing is.
This is my first slow flyer, and I followed all the recent threads and incorporated some of the suggestions - monofiliment flying wires, a loop around the landing gear to keep them from spreading. I used the Ray-o-vac 9.0 volts, and was amazed how quickly the thing broke ground and climbed above the streetlights. Guess I'll have to go buy more batts now. Anyone use regular akaline 9V? Whats the peformance and duration?
