1) The Firefly isn't brushless- it's coreless.
2) Depends on the gearing and the prop. With the 4:1 gearing, I think a 5" prop is typical, with the 16:1 gearing- a 9" prop is closer to it.
3) Airplanes very close to rubber power- this is typically about a 10 watt motor, and probably has less power than an IPS. It's lighter and uses much lighter batteries as well though.
I'm currently building an airplane (Antoinette- not the Sig kit) for the 16:1 motor.
Like a lot of Astro Bob's smaller stuff, these motors really like li-poly as opposed to nickel cells.
