I have been following some of your posts about building. Particularly, the ME 1101. Nice photos by the way!!! I noticed that the builder used Epoxy and Cabosil or similar product for fillets. I have been building pylon racers for several years now and Hated sanding my Epoxy fillets. I found this product which is used for full scale composites. It is made by Polyfiber and is called Superfil. It can be purchased at Aircraft Spruce and Specialty. (

After purchasing my first container I use it for everything. Especially when making a plug (master) for a fuselage. It sands EXTREMELY well. I would recommend using it anywhere you need to make a fillet or even to glue two epoxy fiberglass parts together Like your ducts. This stuff is also very light. One down side is that it takes overnight to dry.

Just want to share this with anyone working with glass fuselages.
