Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please!!! Leave the decals OFF the model!! It would be great so we can 'easily' change the scheme to match our favourite unit/country. Specifically with the P40 because it was flown with so many countries around the world. Many of us would buy the giant scale P40 if not for the butt ugly 10,000 scheme it came out in and the amount of work to change and repaint it.

I like the way they have done the exhausts. That's an improvement on the 1700mm. The LG doors are on the right side at least... again an improvement. The plane appears way better than most and certainly very good for it's size IMO. It's not perfect thou. It may not have flaps and even the tail wheel could be fixed which would be a real shame. Size and price is the problem in this regard I suppose.

This looks great! Glad it's a Warhawk and not another Mustang. Now how do to I balance my choices here, FMS 980 mm P-40B or Durafly 1100 mm P-40N? Let the battle begin (in September).

I agree with the decals!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like the looks of the skull AT ALL!!!!!!!! PLEASE USE THE SHARKS MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the model looks awesome other than that. I would also liked to have seen the B-MODEL. its the same thing they always do with the mustang, and p-47. da## bubble tops!! when in the heck are these companies going to stop producing 1000's of the same models!!!! but ive been waiting forever for a nice p-40 in thi size!!!!! ill get one if they change the UGLY DECALS. im also VERY IMPRESSED with durafly!!!!!!!!! wish I had all their warbirds!!

The 'n' with a sharks mouth was a rear breed. So much history with the P40. After a while the shark mouth just doesn't seem so important.

Wow I am excited about this one.

Hopefully they do leave the decals off and that they offer a few different options via an additional decals in the parts list. For instance, there could be a Checkertail USAAF Desert decal set, an RAAF decal set, RAF decal set and a Flying Tigers decal set. Heck they could even do a Russian decal set. So many cool options.

This one is going to find its way into my hanger. No question.
