Foxtech 5.8ghz 200mW RP-SMA confusion,help please.

Ordered the 5.8ghz Foxtech 200mW vtx/rx and forgot about the RP-SMA adapters.
Would like to order the adapters from Readymade but am confused as to which is the correct one to pick up for the Foxtech vtx/vrx.

These are the two from Readymade...

Thanks for the link, read it but don't have the vtx/vrx in hand er else i could just look at the pics and figure it out.
My antennas are SMA-male, so if the foxtech vtx/vrx has a pin on the inside of the socket/threads on outside then i'm thinking this would be the correct one http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...roducts_id=432

My SMA antenna with a pin in the center will screw on to the end with the threads on the outside and if the foxtech vtx/vrx has a pin sticking out of the socket and threads on the outside then the other end of the adapter should screw on to the vtx/vrx.

Sound like i'm on the right track????

The center pin is not what determines the "male"-ness of the SMA connectors.
If you look closely at the pictures of *all* male and female SMA connectors
regardless of polarity, you'll see that the barrel the surrounds
the center insulator on a male connector fits *into* the depression
in the female connector. That's the male bit that fits in the female bit.

Standard SMA connectors happen to have a pin on the male side, and a
hole for the pin on the female side, but that is incidental.

As for why RP-SMA came about. Sparkfun says it's for FCC Part 15
compliance, but doesn't explain why. The reason is that FCC Part 15
compliance requires that both the Rf module and its antenna be certified
as a single unit. If you take a Part 15 compliant device and replace
the antenna with a different one, then it is no longer compliant. Period.
The intent behind creating RP-SMA was to make a new non-standard
antenna connector that was hard to find replacements for (as they
were all regular SMA before that). So they just swapped the
locations of the center pin and hole between the male and female connectors.
Of course what really happened was that a zillion different RP-SMA antennas
popped up, and it became the new standard for all Part 15 devices (wifi routers, chief among them).

Haven't been able to find a pic of the inside of the Foxtech vtx/vrx antenna plug/socket in my searches but pretty sure this is the adapter i need.
