Other Uses for Microfan and Astro 010

I have a Microfan fitted with an Astro 010 in a Kavan Salamander belly flopper. We fly in a field best described as an urban jungle (re: weeds, rocks, re-bar, old foundations… ). Needless to say, it chews up airplanes in about 6 months . But heh, you always have a new favorite! So, once the Salamander dies, what else can I put the microfan in?

I would do a FS TA-7 Corsair, but they are out of production (anyone have one?). I am also thinking of the FS F-16. Are there any other options out there, ARF or kits?

Thanks

Greg

The Jet Forum Design contest will produce a few but they will probably be scratch built or semi kits.

I'm going to be sticking my microfan/razor 350 setup into a Fantastic Models F-86.

I've seen the FS F-16 fly on this setup very well. You won't be disappointed.

I have an Astro/Wemo microfan setup in a Fantastic-Fan Models F-86 and in a FSK TA-7C Corsair II. Both fly very well, both are more draggy than the FSK F-16. My F-16 (not maidened yet ) has a Razor 2500/Vasa combo in her. Having built these 3 planes I'm sure the Astro/Wemo setup will make you proud.

I've heard only good on the Minx so it should be included in your consideration as well.
