NOT SO SIMPLE b-17

Since my 75" not so simple B-29 went down, I figured it was time to start a new not so simple project.
So here's my new 80" B-17 project.

I plan on installing retracts, split flaps and a working bomb bay.
I'm still trying to figure out what paint scheme to put on it.

Wow, you've got a LOT of patience
What kind of wing loading do you typically end up with at this scale with those building materials and build method?
Also, do you put a wing spar in? I guess you might not need it with three layers of foam for the wing

thanks, it has a single carbon spar. I normally run a wood spar but didn't have any ready when I started. As far as wing loading goes, I have no idea. lol

Wow - do you just hot glue together those flat panels to make the laminated wing?

the bulk of the construction is in fact hot glue, but the large flat surfaces of the wings will be laminated with gorilla wood glue .
I'm also going with a kfm3 wing on her. I want her slow and floaty because I hope to do some scale fpv with her.
