Help!
1/2 A Burt Rutan Quickie

Hey Everyone! Years ago one of the magazines ran an article and sold plans for a 1/2 A Burt Rutan Quickie. Does anyone remember which magazine and/or have a copy of these plans? It was a pretty simple build and flew really well. I would really like to get a copy of these plans!

That's it! Now I just need to find a copy of the plans. Would be RCM, maybe someone still has access to the plans? Built one years ago and used an OS .10. I was planning on going Electric this go around as well. Should be a great fit for Lipo and an outrunner. Loaned out the plans........ If anyone has a set of plans please let me know!

Thanks Bare!

Yer welcome.
Did you notice that attachment IS a pdf??
that means you only need to print the Plan Page It's ready to Use.. as is.
Page 6 I believe.
Adobe Reader will do that at whatever scale you choose.. even as a tiled print via your desktop printer
You can also use "tool's" and measure the on screen image to determine what % magnification required.. Yup it's a basic Skills test.

Thanks for the response! I did notice that actually. While it is something I could use, it appears that I will need to enlarge to approximately 200% at which point the image does pixilate substantially. And I do suppose that the chances of finding an original set of the plans is pretty remote. Thanks again!

rogwinger recently said he is selling a 24.5" wingspan electric Quickie plan. Might be of use?

I've printed it out... yes a bit of degradation happens, screen image is differing than the printed image.. test it :-)
Nothing that's either problematic or gets in the way of building it

Hi Perttime, I did see rogwingers plan for another Quickie just last night. Maybe something to consider.

Hey Bear, I will have to try that out. I believe the local office supply store may be able to print out a copy on a plotter. I will work on the magnification amount here.

Thank you both for your kind assistance!
