Flyzone A6M2 Zero 45" span

This is just a heads up. Ad in new Electric Flight Magazine showing new Flyzone Zero. Not much info. 1145mm wingspan. Retracts. 3s power. 3blade prop. Picture looks good. I'm not really wanting to moderate a thread. Just thought someone out there might want to know since there are not a lot of choices out there for a Zero. Haven't been able to find out any other info on the web.

Good find! Managed to find a bit of information on the Flyzone Website.... Spare Parts. Says that it will have a bomb drop...

Also, waiting on more info. Looked up the link they provided in the mag ad but it takes you to the regular website home.

By looking at the picture in the magazine the bomb drop looks exactly like the Durafly P-40N one. They(Flyzone) didn't proof read their website as the bottom said it includes "Focke Wolf" Two for one I guess.

Don't think of a Zero as a bomber. Most of the pilots liked flying their bomb into the target.

There is a picture of the plane on page 126 of the November issue of Model Aviation Magazine. Looks nice

Other than the one ad in ModelAviation there is no information on this plane. Weird.

Interesting that it says it can run on 3s or 4s.

Looking at the catalog picture, I don't get the impression this one is done by the same folks who supply the FW-190, Corsair, or D.H. Beaver (ST). The motor on this has a much higher kv rating but they don't show it's dimensions as they often do.

The motor/prop remind me of the setup on the Tower Hobbies Hellcat and Corsair. It sounds like the same power setup except they bumped the ESC up to 40A intstead of 30A.

Yes, that seems to be it. The motor is the same kv rating and the prop is the same as the Hellcat, a 10x6x3. 77 gram motor weight is a little light for the other Select Scale airplanes - I think they're just about 100 grams or a little more.
