Timeless Flyer
Just got in from the field. Not a good day for my flying buddy, Jerry. He test flew his Timeless Flyer from Hobby People. It flew great until the wing folded about 6" out from the pylon. Has anyone had similiar experiences with this airplane? No aerobatics were tried just gentle flying around. When the wing folded, it became a lawn dart!
This airplane has a strong resemblence to the old Silky that was way overpriced. Are they the same airplane? |

It's been a while ... but wondering if your buddy found out what happened? Been thinking of getting one (the silky being so $$).

All stock, no mods, running TP 3s 2100 battery, which gives great climb, loops, rudder rolls from level flight no problem! On all my planes I do a "flex test" on all parts of the airframe, and range check on all first flights.

picked one up on ebay, been looking for the silkwind but the deal was too good to pass this up. anyone flying with modern equipment? phil |
