Hi, this looks like a great product. I love the integrated switching and OSD capabilities. I've been waiting for someone to do it. Question: Is the transmission strength configurable? Can I drop it down to 600mw, 200mw, if I'm flying closer and don't want to strongarm the band? Also, I don't see the weight in grams anywhere on seller's sites. Can you provide that?

Hello,
Does the product have antenna protection? I mean if it burns out when works without antenna?
Thanks

The antenna must be connected before power the transmitter.

Weight of this is around 50-60 grams.

Dimensions of the N2000 are L 65mm x D 38mm x H 25mm.

Runs just as warm as the fatshark Tx next to it in the picture. Active cooling is very quiet with next to nil vibration.

Transmission strength is not configurable by buttons but by supply voltage. 6.5v = 27dbm, 12v = 30dbm & 28v = 33dbm

I got mine in the mail yesterday. weight is 64 grams without wires or antenna.
will be doing more testing and a video in the coming days.
I have a Bix3. not sure where it will be placed as yet. i'm thinking in the fuse with a sma cable to the antenna a bit higher up from cockpit

OK. so i learned a few things.
FIRST: this unit does not have reverse polarity protection.
SECOND: it has the same plugs as ImmersionRC, with one distinct DIFFERENCE!!!!!! the + & - are reversed. so if you try to use it as a part of your EZOSD setup, dont. or at least dont just plug it in. puff goes the smoke.
that is the end of my review, until i either figure out how to fix the blown circuit (if i can even find it), or i get a new one.

Why on earth would anyone want or need 2000mw on 5.8ghz?
Get some good antennas and use 200-600mw and fly as far as you want without all the excess energy wasted on heat. Not to mention blasting out this much RF energy is going to play havoc with other electronics.

Cheers,
Geoff

lol i usually rock the 600mw immersion, but i got asked to give this a review. in theory it is a great product. the built in video switch, that fact it is very simple to change channels (ie it says 5800, 5805, 5810... etc etc), it is very handy IMO. i really like the built in screen. Also, i had planned to use it to cause havoc during flying battles with the switchable video channels. oh well.

I saw mention of it sending battery over OSD or something? Did I just misinterpret this? Sounded like it could overlay the battery voltage without an additional OSD module. This would be awesome..
