Try a more powerful motor then, they are cheap as. TJ fitted a slightly more powerful motor and reported good speed and power increase.

It's about time you chopped in one of your toys and bought a lathe!

I did what KP did with the lower shock mount: I put a different bolt! (Inspiration came from the rear shock of the KP09/KP10!).

I in fact cut the bolt to the left to the desired length, making sure the ball of the shock's end will seat on the straight part of the bolt and not on the threads!

Presto, no slop!!!!!!!!!

On the pic: (left to right) The bolt I used, the bolt that was there, the revo bottom, the Anderson shock bottom.

Well... lathe?! OK! I used the dremel! Does that count?!

This bike is discontinued right? Got someone asking me about parts and lives in UK. Modelsport seems out of stock of parts. Where do you UK owners shop for parts for this bike online?

I've no idea if the bike is discontinued. I bet it keeps cropping up as an odd production run as it doesn't seem to be rare as hens teeth yet.

There are others, but I'll need to delve and modify the post after further investigation but it depends what you're after...

Try Wheelspin too, JohnnyMc:

http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/c/602/

They've done a good job of hiding the fact that they sell bikes and parts, for some years, by not having a section for bikes in the menu. Maybe that's why they've apparently still got so much stock... I see it's now a subsection of the cars menu. They didn't used to have it listed as a separate thing - they were just in among the cars.

"Shadow stock" means in stock, but not for immediate despatch. You can still order it though - it just delays your order by a few days.

The bike is still listed too, though only in orange:

Thanks guys, I'll pass those links along.

I asked about this bike being discontinued mostly just on a silly feeling only - very little parts or bikes listed on ebay plus Anderson dropping the dxr street bike.

The M5 anderson cross bike is out front of the Phantom 400 and SR4 electric Gyro .

This company really need to upgrade or change their cross bike for a new one .

For how many times the M5 anderson is on the market now ?

Personally, I'd rather they keep selling this one, exactly as it is, so the spares don't dry up.
