I also have a GWS TM 400, along with 3 Pico TM's. No question about it, the Picos are far and away my favorite planes to fly. They just suit the style of flying I love so much. That being said, the TM 400 is also a nice flyer - it just rquires a bit more attention and is not as "laid back" to fly as the Pico. It can take more wind and I think you will like it for the slightly windier conditions, and more attentive change-of-pace.

Pat,

As I said, I didn't find flying the TM400 on 3S to be comfortable. Most other modelers prefer 3S for their TM 400s, but I don't. So that's why I would go for a lighter bird on 2S for slower flight and softer landings...someday
